INGREDIENTS: (Serves 2)

- 1 pound ground turkey (I use 99% fat free)

- 1 tbsp olive oil

- 1/2 large onion, chopped

- 2 tablespoons minced garlic

- 1 tablespoon reduced-sodium soy sauce

- 1/4 cup hoisin sauce

- 2 teaspoons minced fresh ginger

- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar

- 2 teaspoons chili oil

- 1 can (8 ounce size) sliced water chestnuts, drained, finely chopped

- 1 bunch green onions, thinly sliced

- 2 teaspoons Asian sesame oil

RECIPE:

1. Turn the stove on medium and heat up a pan with olive oil. Once hot, add on your onions and garlic. Cook for ~5 minutes.

2. Add in ground turkey, stirring often to break up the meat.

3. Once the turkey is browned, add in the: soy sauce, hoisin sauce, ginger, rice vinegar, sesame chili oil. Add chopped water chestnuts and green onions. Cook until onions begin to wilt, about 2 minutes.

4. Plate with white jasmine rice and broccoli. Add more green onions on top, if desired. Top with sesame seeds.
